Dr. Janak Parikh is a double board-certified plastic surgeon whose commitment to excellence is grounded in over two decades of surgical experience across complex disciplines. His journey from rigorous training in general and transplant surgery to his refined specialization in aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery reflects a lifelong dedication to precision, innovation, and compassionate care.

A graduate of UCLA and UC San Diego School of Medicine, Dr. Parikh completed his general surgery residency at the prestigious David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, followed by fellowships in multi-organ abdominal transplant and hepatopancreaticobiliary (HPB) surgery at Northwestern and Indiana University. This foundation instilled in him a meticulous surgical approach, deep anatomical understanding, and an unwavering standard of excellence.

His transition to plastic and reconstructive surgery at Houston Methodist Hospital was a natural evolution, bringing together surgical mastery and an artist’s eye for form and balance. As a Clinical Associate Professor at UT Health and a practicing surgeon at Town and Country Plastic Surgeons, Dr. Parikh continues to shape the next generation of surgeons while delivering highly personalized care to his patients.
